Breakfast spot!

$

I am a simple guy with simple needs. On weekends, I always make a point to find the best food for breakfast in Kuala Lumpur. So the only famous nasi lemak in town that I like the most is Nasi Lemak Wak Manjor (just next to Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa) in Jalan Raja Muda Musa (Kampung Baru), Kuala Lumpur. Both serve very good nasi lemak, but the one that seems to get more customers is Wak Manjor...

Long queue forming when I was there at 8.00 am

When it comes to nasi lemak, it is all about; nasi kukus, ikan bilis goreng, sambal sotong, sambal kerang etc. For me, all are equally good and hard to make a choice!

My taste! "extra" ikan bilis goreng, bergedil and sambal sotong...The combination of all these is surely one of life’s precious moment! Happy holiday guys...

 Happy New Year 2013!
May this new year bring YOU and ME the best of everything in our life.
Stay healthy, happy and pretty smart all the time.
Good luck for everything you're trying in this year...

yeaahh...a good way to start my new year blog entry with durian and lemang! I never had lemang with durian before in my life but I've heard that some people take lemang with durian. Since this is the first time I take lemang with durian so I don't know what to expect... :)

The King of fruits is now conquering Malaysians' hearts and stomachs! Beware of it! hehe...

The best lemang kampung can last a few days....

Tricky skill. Just use a sharp parang to peel off the bamboo's outer skin until the inner whiter skin is seen.

Yummy...soft, moist and fragrant!

Such an awesome day, thank you Pos Malaysia!

 1 x Cash RM50 + Bag "SUPERMAN" + Stationery Set + Correction Tape + Button
 HASRUL HASSAN

WINNER NO. 2
 1 x Cash RM50 + Bag "BEN 10" + Stationery Set + Correction Tape + Button
 WAN AMIRA

4. Anak saya dan Irfan masa tu mencari ke hulu ke hilir mencari kelibat Ian, dan mereka tak makan langsung sampailah Ian keluar dari kelas. and when they saw Ian, both of them shouted -- jerit kegembiraan .. macam kita yang dah lama tak jumpa kawan baik kita. yes, kami ibu bapa yang memang dah berkawan sejak zaman mereka tadika memang sangat touched dengan "peristiwa" itu.
5. FYI, both of them berada di tadika yang sama semenjak umur mereka 2 setengah tahun.. jadi memang persahabatan tu dah lama..
6. Harap mereka menjadi rakan baik sehingga mereka besar kelak.

 WINNER NO. 3
1 x  CASH RM50 + Bag "BARBIE" + Stationery Set + Correction Tape + Button
 AYONG ATIKAH ZAID
Kenal tak budak kenit ini?
inilah adik bongsu ayong....nama dia amirah sufiyah..
tahun ni dia baru 6 tahun...tahun lepas dia dah sekolah tapi masuk pra sekolah...
alkisah masa awal-awal masuk pra sekolah dulu ummi suruh dia pakai tudung, tapi dia taknak sebab dia sorang je yang pakai...so bila kat sekolah je mesti dia bukak...
disebabkan hal tu, tahun ni ummi abah buat keputusan masukkan dia sekolah tadika PASTI...barulah dia ok..sekarang kalau keluar rumah jalan-jalan pun kadang-kadang dia sendiri nak pakai tudung..alhamdulillah..

Dato' Siti Nurhaliza has a new single out!! It’s called “Galau”. It’s the first single from her new album, which is going to be released this year. It’s written by Chacha from Indonesia, who is a great artist in his own right and song writer. Thanks to one of my friend who gave me the "Galau" studio version (mp3). First time, when I heard this song this morning @ HOT.fm, its really touching and excellent!
Thumbs up Dato' Siti Nurhaliza.

What "Galau" means? I can simply answered as sad, lonely...dan sewaktu dengannya...haha
OK. Here’s the song (preview only)

 Source :You Tube

Such heartfelt lyrics...

Semerbak wangi di taman hati
Setulus cintaku pejamkan mata mu
Sisakan waktu barang sejenak
Pastikan dirimu ada di detak jantungku

Rebahlah di pusara hati
Agar terlelap tidurmu
Tegarlah menyelami hidup
Dan buang semua kebimbangan

Kala dahagaku
Sejukkan jiwa ini
Cinta tulus darimu

Saat galauku
Kau yang sanggup menenangkan
Sampai badai berlalu...

So how do you guys feel about this new single?
For me this song is very beautiful and meaningful and should be shared with friends to come very heartfelt perfect song to tell someone how you feel about them, male or female....

While in Penang...

Alhamdulillah, my first travel 2013 happened last weekend to Penang Island. For three days I got to explore the island's unique cultural, historical, foods and natural scenery. So upon arrival to Penang and after checking in at the "5 star" hotel (haha...actually my twin bro. apartment) I immediately explore the streets of Bayan Lepas. I have taken many photos during my trip but having a hard time to locate and remembering them...sorry guys!

Having simple lunch, Laksa Penang at Manaf Nasi Ayam in Batu Ferringhi, Penang is a real indulgence.
It came with a Prawn Paste (Otak Udang)

Laksa Penang and Prawn Paste (Otak Udang). So sedappp!

Friendly...my new friends and beautiful beach. Batu Ferringhi, one of Penang’s most popular destinations and a favourite place for beach lovers!

Enjoy the views from the top of Batu Ferengghi. These are my memories of my entire journey from Kuala Lumpur to Batu Ferringhi...hehe

Ok, the next day we went to the Budda Thai temple and the Burmese temple. The temple is actually a complex with beautifully landscaped gardens. The focal attraction of the complex is the massive braze Kuan Yin statue over 120 feet in high up on the hill.

Kek Lok Si Temple is the largest Buddist temple in Southeast Asia as claimed, and stands on top of a hill.

 yeahh, shopping time!

So where is the best place for dinner?
Yes, the famous Ikan Bakar in Bayan Bay, Hammer Bay. Well, just four of us "anak-beranak" having dinner there. Watching the sun set, enjoying fresh seafood while the natural wind blowing you is just...awesome!

Sheila's message:
Actually, the reason is simple. I love to read, and I love to stay motivated with my goals. Started reading this motivational books since I first entering matriculation college. I was kind of anxious for it was my very first time do everything on my own. I believe reading this kind of books somehow inspire me to stay strong and in sha Allah manage to face everything.

Books can really be a great source of motivation. It somehow triggers one to be more vibrant of what they wanted. We absolutely have to take charge of what we want out of life.

By reading motivational books somehow or rather, enable us to take lessons from one's life experience and proactively apply them directly to our own. This is the most great thing one acquire from reading motivational books.

This is basically my personal opinion. I have not heard of this book before. If possible, I would really appreciate if you could give me a chance of reading this. By the way, I would suggest you to share some of the valuable messages in the book, perhaps in your blog? That would be a great information for others too.

Thanks for your lovely time reading this. Hoping for a great news. In sha Allah. Salam abg eq!

Alhamdulillah, I wrote a research paper and it was accepted to a 7th LUX PACIFICA Conference in Bangkok! Lux Pacifica 2013 will be held in Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, Bangkok Thailand from March 6-8, 2013.

The good news is I'm the first author, and will be the first Malaysian presenting 2 research papers at the conference. Title:

This special conference organized and host by Illuminating Engineering Association of Thailand (TIEA). Over 50 participants will be coming from over 20 countries (Australia, UK, Taiwan, US, Japan etc), and I can't wait to meet them all and see what they will create through their lighting research.

The focus of the conference will be light and culture, fundamental of lighting and day lighting, vision and color, energy efficiency, outdoor and indoor lighting, light and health, light and architecture, lighting design, lighting fixtures, sources of light and control systems, LEDs and their application, irradiation systems, light measurements, standards of lighting, optical devices, sensors and displays and radiometric of optical properties of materials.

New semester starts today! Year 3, semester 5, week 1... I have to admit this semester was quite a challenge and promises to be fun! I think it's more challenging that I had anticipated. Briefly, this semester, I will be taking only ONE course SPS6999: DOCTORAL RESEARCH. Although I have no coursework this semester, it promises to be a busy semester...

So what's next? OK, let me take a moment to provide you my rough schedule for this semester;

18 February 2013 - end of March 2013: Submitting Chapters I, II, III to my committee.

6 March 2013 - 9 March 2013: at Lighting Conference-7th LUX PACIFICA 2013, Bangkok, Thailand

13 March 2013: Comprehensive Exam (CE) for Ph.D candidates.

1 April 2013 - July 2013: I will be at Photometry Lab, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.

1 April 2013 - July 2013: Three month research attachment at Photometry Lab,

The schedule is in rough draft form right now. It will change some here and there. So, my goal is to have my thesis ready for publications early in 2014. I had still like to graduate in August/September 2014. In syaa Allah...

Well, that’s all for this update. Stay tuned for future updates...

Morning guys! It is my belief that every person has something to give. And that whatever we can give, we should. I''m sure, some of us have more than others, more money, more time, more experience, more education, more whatever....But the power in giving is symbolic, often the power is not exactly in what is given, but in what it means to have been given to...am I right?

Salam. Finally I′m back to my blog after more than a month...

"UBAH PERSEPSI TINGKATAN ENAM"
Berita Harian: 4 Jun 2013 (Rabu)

Is it form 6 really so tough...?? From my experience (I took form 6 in 1991/92), I don't think form 6 is hard, yes it is challenging because you have to learn so much thing within so short of time plus the co-curricular. If you have work consistently throughout the entire form 6, in shaa allah, to get a good results isn't an impossible thing. Then when you go into university, you will feel like you are learning the continuation of what you have studied...

So my advice is, study or whatever you do really need a lots of HARDWORK, either you are in form 6 or matriculation, you will only succeed if you work hard!...and remember, if you choose form 6, you must get a good result in order to enter either IPTA/IPTS, do not waste your one and a half year time and doing foundation or diploma again!!!

Form Six life is not as difficult as you think...

Form six or matriculation, nothing is easy! Everything need work HARD !

GOOD LUCK!
